IN MEMORY OF M. MOORE

May You Find Peace At Last

At Peace

Screaming At The Deaf

If only…

you could have waited,

one more day.

If only…

you could have chosen,

To delay.

Such a fatal decision,

The final blow,

No redemption, no forgiveness,

Only anger, hate, sorrow.

If only…

You could have waited,

Even one more hour,

Thoughts…

Momentary, fleeting,

Would have been devoured.

Twisted mind…

Sealed your fate.

Their carelessness…

Triggered your hate.

Their expectations…

Only crippled you.

Enraged, disgraced,

No reprieve in sight.

No destination, no motivation,

Reassured by only lies.

If only they had listened,

If only they had understood,

No more dreams, no more days,

But they weren’t listening anyways.
